The Denver Broncos snapped up Jeff Heuerman in the third round of the NFL Draft.  The Ohio State tight end was the 92th overall pick for the day.

During his junior year at Ohio State, Jeff Heuerman was an honourable choice for the All-Big-Ten process in 2013. Unfortunately, this 6 foot-5, 255 pound football player endured foot issues during his senior year.  Despite his health problems, he still managed to complete 17 receptions for 207 yards and two touchdown passes during his senior year at Ohio State.  This averaged to 12.2 yards for each pass.

It appears that Jeff Heuerman's junior year at Ohio State was his best year of football during his college career.  He ran a total of 466 yards for 26 catches.  He also made four touchdowns.

Jeff Heuerman is from Naples, Florida.  He graduated from Barron Collier High School.  During his high school football career, he had the distinction of being a 3-star prospect that came out at the prep level.  He had a ranking of 22nd for the tight end position.  According to the 247 Sports Composite, Jeff Heuerman was also ranked the number 444th recruit in the United States during 2011.

Jeff Heuerman will now have the opportunity to play with one of the most popular quarterbacks to ever play the game of professional football, and that is Peyton Manning.  He will also play with another teammate from Ohio State who was drafted by the Denver Broncos back in 2014.
