There are many women in the world that have paved the way for other women in the world of sports.  There are three women that are considered the best female pool players of all time.

Jeanette Lee:  Lee is one of the most popular and most talented female pool players in history.  She began playing pool in the late 1980s and went pro in the early 1990s.  Lee has won over 25 titles and in the billiard circuit she earned the nickname The Black Widow because she has been said to "eat her opponents alive".  In 2001 Lee earned a gold medal in the World Games.

Allison Fisher:  Fisher is from England and is one of the best female pool players in the world and goes by the moniker "The Duchess of Doom".  She began playing pool in the early 1990s and became a professional billiard player in 1995.  In 2009 she won the gold medal while representing the United Kingdom in the World Games.

Ewa Laurance: Laurance started playing pool as a teenager and soon began competing in the 1980s. She is known as "The Striking Viking".  Laurance has earned over 20 titles.  She has since retired and is now a sports announcer on ESPN.  She is also a member of The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fall and was the WPBP President thrice over.
