Sonny Styles from Pickerington Central Ohio recently committed to play Safety at Ohio State in 2023. The standout will stay in state after some felt he might be leaving to play elsewhere. The Buckeyes landed a great player who should get on the field early and become an important part of their defensive backfield in the future.

Tom Loy Getting it Wrong
Here’s what Rivals’ Tom Loy had to say about Sonny Styles before he’d even played a down of high school football:Have heard rumblings for a while now that Sonny Styles will indeed be a Notre Dame guy in the end. I know he grew up a huge ND fan and loves the place so if that is his decision it would not be a huge shock at all. I have been told there have been recent talks between the two parties but nothing solid yet. He does want to hear from them one more time before he makes his decision. I think Ohio State is in great shape here obviously, but I am not ready to eliminate Notre Dame quite yet.
